Projects

Purpose

Content type: choose whether the entry behaves as a project or a thesis. This changes which fields are shown in the editor and enables frontend type filtering.
Course of study: shared field used to group and filter entries by programme. Use consistent labels, because the archive filters depend on this value.
Class: project-only field for the official course name in which the project was developed.
Class theme: project-only optional short title for the brief, topic, or theme tackled in that class.
Course year: project-only numeric year within the degree programme, for example 1, 2, or 3.
Semester: project-only field for the teaching semester, usually 1 or 2.
Students: shared comma-separated list of student names associated with the project or thesis.
Professors: shared comma-separated list of supervising professors.
Tutors: project-only optional comma-separated list of tutors or teaching assistants.
Academic year (start): project-only starting year of the academic year, for example 2025 for 2025-26.
Link to Thesis (external): thesis-only external URL to the thesis page or directory entry. On the single thesis page, this becomes the call-to-action link.

Projects has a public archive at /projects.
Projects and Theses use the same post type, but they expose different type-specific fields and can be filtered separately on the frontend.
